DIRECTIONS TO EGYPTIAN THEATRE
The Egyptian Theatre is a beautiful and historic theatre in the heart of downtown Ogden. The address is 2415 Washington Boulevard. There is a parking terrace on the back west side of the theatre and street parking around the theatre. Parking can be a challenge so we suggest you arrive early enough to park a short distance away if needed.
ENTRANCE INTO COMPETITION
There are NO SPECTATOR ENTRY FEES at Utah Dance Fest. All spectators may enter free of charge. And FREE digital competition programs will be available by QR code at the event.
There will be Battle bottled water available at our Battle apparel booth and the Egyptian Theatre concessions booth will be open. Please help us by not bringing meals into the theatre during the event - especially dressing rooms. This is an historic theatre and they are trying to preserve it's beauty and functionality. We appreciate the Peery Egyptian Theatre allowing dance events in their theatre - lets keep food and drinks outside the theatre and help keep the facility clean and free from damage.
YES we allow parents to photograph their dancers at Utah Dance Fest! We are a family friendly event that still believes parents have that right. We want to be able to continue allowing photography so please be honest and considerate of others costuming, choreography and ideas and don’t video any routines that aren’t your own. NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY or tripods or large video equipment in the auditorium.
We are hoping to provide an intensive experience unlike any that exists in the dance world – one where dancers come to dance, not compete and where everyone leaves feeling
inspired and filled with love for dance! Our faculty is committed and excited to creating this environment for you and your dancers at the Battle of the Best and so are we. Parents may watch quietly in classes – spectator passes will be $25 at the door.
